The Graham Sturart Thomas Rose Book

An omnibus of three books: The Old Shrub Roses (1955), Shrub Roses of Today (1962) and Climbing Roses Old and New (1965).  There have been 22 editions and reprints of these classics, but Christopher Lloyd noted one practical shortcoming: "It is no use having just one of his rose volumes, you must have all three ... and the trio must not be scattered in different parts of the house". Here they are. New material has been added, practical advice is included on planting, general cultivation, pruning, and display, and new photographs complement favorite illustrations from such master hands as Redoute and Graham Thomas himself.
